Henna is a Natural Dye

 

Henna has been used for centuries as a natural dye for hair, skin, and fabric! The leaves of the henna plant contain a pigment called lawsone, which is responsible for its reddish-brown color. In fact, the ancient Egyptians used henna to dye their hair and beards, and it's still used today as a natural alternative to synthetic hair dyes.
